Her PhD project investigates the in vitro and in vivo effects of Cannabidiol (CBD) and in combination with chemotherapy drugs in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) with scope to explore further cannabinoids such as Cannabigerol (CBG) and Δ⁹-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC).
Complementary to her research interests, she is also involved in teaching undergraduates enrolled in the Medical Biosciences program and acting as an examiner in various master’s courses at Imperial College London. Nagina enjoys teaching to help engage the younger minds with how amazing science truly is and enthuse the next generation of scientists.
