Frequently Asked Questions

Are the We Speak Science Education programmes running in 2022?

Yes! The We Speak Science Education summer programmes are fully operational, and the summer programmes are proceeding as planned. New enrolments are still being accepted, and we look forward to welcoming participants to Cambridge, Oxford, and London this summer. To guide our procedures and regulations, we are always examining the most up-to-date information. The safety of our students and staff is our highest priority, and we follow all government advice and legislation.

What do I need to prepare before travelling?

What you need to prepare before travelling depends on whether you qualify as fully vaccinated under the rules for travel to England.

There are different rules if you have been in a red-list country or territory in the 10 days leading up to your arrival in England. Whether you are fully vaccinated or not, the red list rules apply.

Visit the UK Government website for the most up-to-date information here.

What happens if I was due to attend the summer 2022 programme but chose to defer?

All 2022 deferrals have been notified regarding their 2023 choices.
