Project title: Earth Orbits the Sun

Activity description:  In this activity, students of the We Speak Science Academy were asked to present their work by building 3D projects. The students used different materials to construct the earths orbit such as: paper, plasteline and plastic.
The following photos illustrate our students’ presentations:

Figs. Shown here Earth at the seasonal points in its orbit, when observed from above the northern hemisphere, Earth circles the Sun at an average distance of 149.60 million kilometers in a counterclockwise pattern. It takes 365.256 days to complete one orbit.
Student projects were guided by mentors of The We Speak Science Academy
